iGaming will happily tell you what it pays a betting-shop cashier. It will not tell you what it pays an engineer. Hourly frontline roles state a rate in 61% of ads. Salaried office roles — engineering, product, compliance, marketing — do so in 7%.

These are counted separately on purpose. Hourly work publishes its rate almost everywhere, in every industry — blending the two would make iGaming look nearly three times more open than it is.

The other 14 employers stated a pay figure on none of their 570 salaried ads between them. The largest single board without a salary anywhere: 143 open roles.
How we measured this
Every live ad on the public career boards of 20 major iGaming employers — 1,377 in total.
An ad only counts as disclosing if it states an actual figure next to pay language. "Competitive salary" does not count.
Ads are split into hourly frontline work and salaried office work, and never blended into a single headline number.
- Public career boards only — pay published elsewhere, such as on LinkedIn, is not counted.
- Detection is text-based. We audited 205 ads from the employers scoring zero and found no missed disclosures, but the figure is a floor, not a ceiling.
- A snapshot of ads live on the survey date, not a historical average.
